Bella is 23 Months!

It has been a really exciting month in the Segelman house. There have been so many developments since I last wrote that i can't really believe it.

Over the last few months Bella has had a developing interest in the potty and last night she went both pee-pee and poo-poo in the potty. Very exciting. We'll see what develops and we're both trying to stay unattached. But this morning she woke up and the first thing she wanted to do was go on the potty. It is so cute to watch her sitting naked on the potty reading a book.

Bella is saying so many words now that we stopped keeping track. She has gotten o the point that she can say just about anything....if she wants too. She even said a 4 word sentence the other morning.

Another new development is that she is requesting different songs when we sing before nap and bedtime. The 2 most requested songs are "Row-Row-Row Your Boat" and "The Goodbye Song" from Music Together. Today she was asking for a song that I couldn't understand what she was saying. Also, when we are singing "The Goodbye Song" she always wants to say good-bye to her friend Bryce, sometimes even twice.

Yesterday she put corn up her nose. I was not here, but I guess Vanessa had to blow in her mouth in order to get the corn to come out. She is such a two year old.

We are also doing swim classes now. She still likes to drink the water and she has not started blowing bubbles yet. She is still not a big fan of getting her head wet or floating on her back, but she is getting better at it. She loves going and when we are driving there she must say "pool" about 50 times. Getting out of the pool is the most difficult part.
